Carrier Strike Group Two CSG2 conducts sea trials in the Atlantic prior to deployment - F-14 Tomcat Final Deployment

As a red-shirt makes one last check on a AIM-9 Sidewinder, a yellow-shirt guides AJ101, an F-14 Tomcat from VF-31 'Tomcatters', to the 'shuttle' to prepare for launch off the deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 during sea trials prior to their 2005 Mediterranean deployment. This would be the final cruise for the F-14 Tomcat and the last time it would ever see combat.
