Introducing the F-117A to Holloman AFB in 1992 as the Commander of the 49th Fighter Wing, Gen. Lloyd "Fig" Newton (retired), stands next to Brig. Gen. David Goldfein, current Commander of the 49FW. Brig. Gen. Goldfein became the last 'Bandit', #708, when he flew his first F-117A Sept. 14, 2006.
